A Chinese pistache tree was cut to allow expansion of the downtown area of Las Cruces NM. The artists decided to celebrate the tree by using its wood for many types of art projects. Can you believe it was used in that beautiful guitar? The craftsman that built it(Eddy Harrison) sez it 'rings like a bell'. :-)
